In achieving the vision of the NCAI Policy Research Center to be a tribally-driven think tank that would fulfill the mission of “supporting Indian Country in shaping its own future,” we have partnered with the Urban Institute* to create a joint fellowship that offers a fantastic opportunity for Native students that will have completed their junior year of college by summer 2011.

Tenure-Track Position in American Indian Studies at the University of Minnesota
The Department of American Indian Studies at the University of Minnesota invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the rank of assistant professor that will begin in the fall semester 2012 and will be preceded by a one-year appointment as a post-doctoral associate during academic year 2011/12.
