Appointees must comply with School and University instructions, deadlines, and policies regarding course scheduling, and are expected to be flexible with regards to the scheduling of their classes to accommodate the limited space availability for classrooms during standard business hours. Classes may be in person, online, or mixed. Appointments may be part- or full-time, for 1, 2, or 3 classes per quarter and 1, 2, or 3 quarters in duration in an academic year.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications (Required at Time of Application)

Bachelor's degree in business disciplines such as accounting, finance, economics, management, marketing, business information systems, or human resources management.

Candidates will be evaluated based on:

1) Area of expertise in field relevant to the specific course(s) needing instruction.

2) Educational background: a bachelor's or advanced degree in a business discipline or related field.

3) Professional background: experience in an applicable business field with preference for candidates who are subject matter experts in their fields and have taught previously.

4) Evidence of teaching effectiveness.

Preferred qualifications

Graduate degree in business disciplines such as accounting, finance, economics, management, marketing, business information systems, or human resources management.

Subject matter expertise, typically obtained through practical business experience of 5+ years

Teaching experience of 3+ years
